All traffic is being rerouted down Willowwood Road due to a bad accident near the old Cameo Club. They said it will be closed for sometime..

Next week, the West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) will host its annual Summer Conference. In response to the recent flooding events that have impacted Barbour, Lewis, and Upshur counties, State Superintendent Michele Blatt has asked conference attendees to assist by bringing flood relief supplies for those affected communities.
Summers County Schools is proud to answer that call for support. If you would like to contribute, donations may be dropped off at the Central Office today, Monday, or Tuesday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. District teams will be traveling to the conference on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and will deliver the collected supplies.
A list of needed items is provided below. We greatly appreciate your generosity and willingness to support our fellow West Virginia educators, students, and families during this difficult time.
