The JBE Drama Program presented Moana tonight. Thank you to Ms. Newsome and her students for a great performance.
Drama Parents!! There has been a slight change of plans. Students will be fed at JBE, after school. They will leave JBE at approximately 4:20 and be taken, by school bus, down to SCHS.
The JBE Drama Program will be performing Moana tomorrow night at the SCHS auditorium at 6pm. Admission is free, but donations to the program are always welcomed. We hope to see you all there!

This is a busy week at JBE! There are several events that we need to be aware of for the week. Each of those are listed below. There are several opportunities for families to be involved this week, and we hope to see as many families as possible!! Remember, every day is a great day to be a JBE Tiger!
1. Tutoring- Tuesday and Thursday 3:20-4:20
2. Drama Practice: Monday 3:20-5:00pm and Wednesday 3:20-5:30pm
3. Report Cards go home on Tuesday
4. Title One Night-Winter Carnival theme- 5p-7p come out and grab a bowl of potato soup or chili and have a great evening learning how to help your child succeed in school.
5. Bible Club- Wednesday 3:20-4:30
6. Drama Program- Moana will be performed on Friday January 27, 2023 at 6pm in the SCHS Auditorium. We hope to see you all there!!
7. Regularly Scheduled 2-hour delay- Wednesday, January 25, 2023. Our doors will open at 9:20am.

We, at Summers County Schools, hope you had a memorable Christmas weekend. We wish our students, staff, and families a restful week away from school, and look forward to seeing you on January 3, 2023!
Pre-K students came to the Central Office to make Christmas trains and read a Christmas story. Thank you to our students and staff for their visit! Merry Christmas to our students, staff, and families.
The Summers County High School Band will host their Christmas concert tonight at 6:00 in the school auditorium.
Reminder!! Tomorrow evening is our Polar Express Event! It will be between 4pm-6pm tomorrow. Cookies and hot chocolate will be provided! Students may also shop at the Santa Store, and parents may join them! Students wishing to attend may simply stay after school. The cost is $5.
Beginning tomorrow November 15, 2022 Summers County Comprehensive High School students, grades 6-12, will be on remote learning through the end of the week. All elementary schools will be on a regular schedule starting tomorrow November 15, 2022.
Tonight’s football game and tailgate will go on as planned. There will be drinking water and toilets provided.
