Communities In Schools partnered with WVU Extension Office and Sprouting Farms to offer students at Talcott Elementary the opportunity to shop for fresh produce. All students were given $10.00 in tokens to spend at the Farmers Market allowing them to choose fresh vegetables, make the decision on how much to spend for their favorite veggies and calculate how much money was left to spend. Students enjoyed shopping and were excited to take veggies home to the family!
