Summers County High school proudly announces our 2022 golden horseshoe winners. Greyson Gumm, Hayden Crook, and Joelle Kim will have an opportunity to be recognized at the Golden Horseshoe ceremony on June 14th at the West Virginia Culture Center in Charleston, WV.
Since 1931, students have been honored as knights of the Golden Horseshoe having demonstrated exceptional knowledge of West Virginia history on the state administered exam.
SCHS would also like to recognize Mr.Poszich (2nd semester) and Mr. Lewis (1st semester) for their hard work as West Virginia History Teachers.
