April 29, 2022 West Virginia First Lady Cathy Justice visited students and staff at Jumping Branch Elementary in celebration of Arbor Day. Students visited with the First Lady as well and enjoyed time with Division of Forestry staff and Smokey the Bear. The event culminated with the planting of a Black Gum tree on the school's campus.
